Modeling a 3D orc with Lightwave 3D

Chapter 2 - Nose modeling

Let's add a little more definition using Smooth Shift again one time, to give more depth at the inside of the nose. To have a better idea of what's going on inside the nose, press f to flip polygons and see the flipped inside of the nose.

Using Smooth Shift again to give depth

Now use Bandsaw tool to add more detail at the nostril contour and moving vertex to give it a more natural look.

Using Bandsaw to add more detail at the nostril contour

Ok, now it's time to add more detail to the nostril using again the Bandsaw tool (read the example). Selecting the polygons around the nostril, flip f and bandsaw them with 2 divisions (Follow the steps on images selecting, flipping, bandsawing and flipping again).
